Mapleton is located west of West Fargo, along I-94 and is a quick and easy drive from the metro area. It offers great small town living close to the amenities of being in the city.
Schools
- Mapleton Elementary School is located at 506 1st Street and enrolls students from Pre-K to Sixth Grade. MES offers small class sizes with more one-on-one time with students. The student/teacher ratio is 10:1.
- Students in Grades 7-12 enroll in either West Fargo (ND) Public Schools or Central Cass Public School in Casselton.
Parks and Recreation Areas

Christensen Park is located on the south side of the rail road tracks at 6th Avenue and 1 1/2 Street, just East of the water tower. The park has a picnic shelter, modular play system, a volleyball court and other play units.

Prairie View Park is located on the north side of the railroad tracks at 4th Street and 5th Avenue. It has a volleyball court, basketball court, soccer field, picnic shelter, modular play system, large sand box and various other play units.

Maple Pointe Park is located north of the rail road tracks along County Road 11. It has a small picnic area and modular play system.

A baseball complex is located on the far East end of First Street.

Mapleton Frolf Course is a 9 Hole Disc Golf Course located near the baseball complex.

Maple River Golf Course is located in Ashmoor Glen.
